Black Holes

Black holes are the most dense points in space. They are so dense that nothing, not even light, can escape. Black holes are created when a big star gets so big and dense, that it collapses in on itself. There are the supermassive black holes which are at the center of each galaxy. However, small black holes are so common, that there are billions just in our galaxy.

Space time is the area that consist of all matter. It is all of space, and all of time, since they are the same thing. Black holes are so dense, that they warp space time. This is why time slows down as you get closer to a black hole. Even though black holes take up no actual space time.

The singularity of a black hole is the single point of space time in the center. The event horizon is the outside of the black hole. It is the point of no return.

If you were to get sucked in by a black hole, you would first be killed by the gravity. You would then be streched out like spagetti, since the gravity closer to the black hole is greater than it is farther away.

It has never been recorded before, but it is a theory that if two black holes collided and were streched out, it would create a wormhole. Another way a black hole could potentially die is if it got so dense and compact, that it could explode.

Black holes are still quite a mystery to scientists, and they still have lots to to dicover about them in the future.
